Artist Statement
"Touching Your Heart"
"Touching Your
Heart" is a concept felt so strongly that it can unite mankind from a place within their heart. This heart-felt feeling has
provoked love through diversity, families, and situations from life. Everyday relationships are taken to a higher level when
expressed through paintings and drawings. This collection evokes intense relationships between human beings. The different
techniques employed capture the unspoken feelings felt when viewing the subject. The passionate feelings exuding from these
works reveal a powerful and intimate relationship, of unconditional love between people of different generations and races.
The most important aspect of the work is the intense feeling emitted from these relationships. The powerful relationships
are shown in the richness yet soft use of color, blending not only the colors, but, the feelings that each subject has with
the other person. This love is the foundation on which each painting is begun. "Touching Your Heart" is what I hope you will
be impacted with as you experience each piece of work in this website.
